About Vemana Institute of Technology

The Vemana IT, a premier institute was established under aegis of KRJS during the year 1999 in the heart of the Bengaluru city having vast land area of about 5 acres.

Vemana IT has started with 3 Under Graduate (UG) courses of 180 intake and progressively grown up to 5 UG courses with 600 intake, and 5 VTU approved Research centers.

The institute is named after "Dharshanika Mahayogi Vemana" a saint of tall order and a social reformer who reached to the common people with his simple and straight forward Vemana Padyas’ they serve as the medicine for worldly ailments. He is our guiding spirit. Vemana IT is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to VTU, Belagavi, Karnataka.

VIT Bangalore offers admission at the undergraduate level. The admissions are done on a merit basis and the scores of the entrance examination are taken into consideration.

Vemana Institute of Technology, Bangalore (VIT) Application Process

Go to the official website of the university and register on the website.
Once you register, you will need to log in with your credentials.
You will be redirected to an application form. Start filling out your application form carefully.
Upload all the necessary documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets, domicile certificate, character certificate, and the scorecard of the KCET/COMED-K entrance examination.
Upload your passport-size photograph, along with your signature.
Once you've completed the application form, you'll need to pay the application fee. You can do this using online methods like net banking, credit/debit card, or other available online options.
Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
The admissions will be based on the merit list released by the institute. No other mode will be entertained by the institute.

VIT library has a capacious collection of more than 20,000 volumes with 5300 titles covering various engineering subjects. Library has 60 International and 40 National Journals, 15 Technical magazines and 11 Newspapers along with 6 years back volumes of the periodicals to update the knowledge. In non paper collection institute provides CD's and OPAC facility. VIT library is fully connected with Internet facility with branded 18 systems.

Classroom

VIT provides well furnished and trendy classrooms. All classrooms provides a special learning environment, a touch screen white board is integrated with the LCD projector and a computer.

Transportation- The university offers transportation facilities for students residing far away from the university.
