Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research is a Deemed university in the Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is in the rural area of Vadlamudi, in the southeast of Guntur City and the northeast of Tenali City

: Candidates must take the appropriate entrance test in order to be considered for admission to Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research. Exams like the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, V-SAT 2023, and JEE Main are acceptable for B. Tech programmes.

The credo of the Training and Placement department is to incorporate a wide range of relevant learning opportunities that support and develop students at different stages of their academics.

In order to execute this effectively, the placement cell collaborates with a number of Industries and Companies across various sectors. This helps in identifying the training needs and accordingly, training programs are facilitated to students. The main focus of the department is to train the students and to bestow them with the right opportunities for their careers.

• Merit scholarships will be awarded by considering performance of students across all the branches when the syllabus is common.
• When the syllabus is different from branch to branch merit scholarships will be awarded branch wise.
• Distribution of merit scholarships is as follows:
  • First 1/5th of the top 5% students will be awarded - 50% of category - A fee
  • Next 2/5th of the top 5% students will be awarded - 30% of category - A fee
  • Remaining 2/5th of the top 5% students will be awarded - 20% of category - A fee

The University has a fleet of 40 buses, operating along three routes of Guntur, Vijayawada, Mangalagiri / Bypass Mangalagiri / Bypass, Kaja, Revendrapadu, Dugirala Main Road, Tenali, Chilakaluripeta, Bapatla, Ponnur, Battiprolu, Cherukupalli, Repalle, Vellaturu, Donepudi, Kolluru, Vemuru, Jampani, Pedaravuru, Amaravathi, 14th Mile Stone and Tadikonda 'x' Road with a total seating capacity of 2500 students. Besides providing the bus service,the institute maintains a pool of ten cars for meeting the transport requirements of the senior faculty. An emergency vehicle is available round the clock.
