Vignan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) was established in 2002 in the City of Destiny, Visakhapatnam, to cater to the educational needs of the general public. It acquired Autonomous status in the year 2017 and NBA and NAAC(A Grade) accredited Institute. The experience gained by Vignan through its earlier institutions at Guntur has only helped in establishing very high quality standards right from the inception and also is one of the reasons for the success.

While students at VGNT immerse themselves in academics, the college has a lot in store for them outside the classroom. Student life includes participation in sports, recreational & co-curricular and cultural activities. In short, at VGNT, students will find an academic and social environment where everyone from faculty members to peers helps them shape their future.

Vignan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Visakhapatnam provides admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. VIIT Visakhapatnam B. Tech admission will be done on the basis of the students' performance in the AP EAMCET examination followed by a counselling process.

From the sixth semester, students have the eligibility for campus placements and fifteen to twenty companies have visited our college for our department and the highest package is 10lpa and the average package is 3lpa and the profile offered is designer roles. 75% is mandatory for every student in order to get placement.

Vignan's Institute of Information Technology Scholarships and Funding. To provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families, the Institute provides Means Scholarship for 20 Students whose Parents annual income will be less than INR 2,00,000.
