Admissions

VIT Vellore B.Tech Admission Process

· Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.

· Next, eligible candidates must fill the VIT Vellore application form available on the official website.

· Following that, candidates have to appear for the VITEEE conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology.

· Next, candidates are shortlisted based on their VITEEE score.

· Shortlisted candidates must register for and attend VITEEE counselling.

· Candidates are required to fill in their preferences and select VIT Vellore as their first choice.

· Furthermore, candidates are assigned seats based on their rank in the list and the choices they make.

· Candidates must pay the admission fee and have their documents verified in order to be admitted to VIT Vellore.

VIT Vellore UG Admission Process

· Aspirants have to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

· Eligible candidates have to fill the Vellore Institute of Technology application form.

· The university publishes a merit list based on candidates' 10+2 results and subject of study.

· The shortlisted candidates are then invited to VIT Vellore counselling.

· The final step is document verification and payment of VIT Vellore fees.

VIT Vellore M.Sc Admission Procedures

· Aspiring students must meet the eligibility criteria.

· Next, eligible students have to fill the online application form.

· Admission is based on performance in the UG qualifying examination (or its equivalent).

· The candidates who have been shortlisted based on their merit are then called for admission.

· Candidates are assigned seats in the order of merit based on their UG grades.

· Once selected, candidates must get their documents verified and pay the desired course fees.

SCHOLARSHIP :

VIT Chennai offers scholarships to the top 1000 rank holders in VITEEE entrance exam under GV School Development Program (GVSDP). Following table shows the percentage of fee waiver according the rank acquired by a candidate:

Terms and Conditions:
1. Scholarship for the First year will be applicable on the basis of rank as above.
2. From the Second year onwards, Scholarship will be applicable for each year if the student scored 8.0 or above CGPA, maintain the required Attendance and does not indulge in indisciplinary activities.

VIT Chennai Facilities

VIT University, Chennai provides various infrastructure and facilities for the students and faculty. VIT Chennai hostel facilities include separate hostels for both boys and girls. The university has a cafeteria that serves hot and hygienic food to the students as well as the working staff members at a reasonable cost. VIT Chennai library facility includes a wide variety of books, journals, and magazines that helps in gaining knowledge for the students and the faculty members. Some of the VIT Chennai campus facilities include sports, auditorium and conference halls, library and gymnasium and many more. Other facilities like smart classrooms and the Internet are also available.

The Institute has medical Healthcare Clinic addresses all the health needs of students, faculty, and staff on a continuous basis throughout the year, 24/7. The Institute has a Gym facility for the students. has a number of centres for physical education. To maintain physical fitness and develop a competitive spirit. VIT Chennai gym facilities for students include two gymnasia, one exclusively for men, and one exclusively for women. Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai has a library facility for all students.
