Admission Proces

• Sit for NEET-UG → get score/rank.

• Seat allotment happens via: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the 15% All-India Quota (AIQ) and via the state authority (for State Quota & NRI Quota) for the remaining 85%. 

• Once allotted, you must report to ZMC, complete fee payment (admission fee + 1st-year fee + hostel fee if applicable) before final admission. 

• You need to undergo medical fitness screening (blood tests, chest X-ray, ECG etc.) as part of the formal admission process.

• Provide original documents for verification (10th, 12th marksheets & certificates, NEET-UG scorecard, domicile / quota certificate (if applicable), caste certificate (if applicable), identity proof etc.) at the time of admission.

Eligibility

• You must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology + English. 

• Minimum marks in PCB aggregate: 50% for General / EWS, 40% for SC/ST/OBC (some sources may vary slightly based on regulations). 

• Minimum age: 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year. 

• Must qualify NEET-UG with required percentile/rank

Admission Process

• Appear for NEET-PG and get a valid score/rank.

• Participate in counselling — typically through MCC (for All-India Quota, central pool and related seats) or state-level counselling authorities (for State Quota seats), depending on seat/allotment policies. 

• At time of admission you must submit: MBBS degree/certificate (or provisional pass certificate), internship completion certificate, registration certificate (permanent or provisional), and other required documents. 

• If you are a foreign medical graduate (i.e. MBBS abroad) — then you need recognized qualification, NMC (or relevant) registration, and must satisfy additional criteria for foreign graduates as defined by NMC / NBE.

Eligibility

• Must hold an MBBS degree (or provisional pass certificate) from an institution recognized under the laws of the country (for India, recognized by National Medical Commission / MCI) or equivalent.

• Must have a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification (from NMC/State Medical Council). 

• Must have completed the mandatory one-year rotatory internship, or be likely to complete by the cutoff date (e.g. for NEET-PG 2025: on or before 31 July 2025). 

• There is no upper age limit for NEET-PG.

• There is no limit on the number of attempts for NEET-PG (i.e. you can attempt multiple times if needed).
