DELHI-CET - 2024
Delhi CET is a state-level entrance examination that offers admission into certification and diploma courses within Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, and numerous different fields. To get admission candidates need to qualify for the entrance test with minimum qualifying marks
Candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks. Mathematics, Science and English should be compulsory subjects in class 10.
Syllabus of Full Time Diploma (Except Pharmacy)
Section A: General Knowledge
1. The Constitution of India, well known dates of Indian History, Famous Books and authors, Wonders of the world, Indian states and their capitals, Wildlife sanctuaries in India, currencies in world, Important rivers, mountains and oceans, important trophies and cups in sports, everyday science, current affairs etc.
2. Logical Reasoning (Verbal/ Non-Verbal Reasoning): Analogy, Classification (Odd Man Out), Series completion, Coding Decoding, Blood relations, Image series, Construction of shapes, Picture Analogies, Rule detection etc.
3. Quantitative Aptitude: HCF and LCM, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, Average, Simple Interest, Time and work, Time and distance, unit system etc.
Section B: Communication Skills
1. Methods of Communication, Communication Process and Elements, Verbal Communication etc.
2. Non-verbal Communication, Communication Cycle and the Importance of Feedback, Barriers to Effective Communication, Writing Skills — Parts of Speech, Writing Skills — Sentences Active and Passive Sentences etc
Section C: Science and Basic Mathematics
1. Science: Chemical Substances- Nature and Behavior, World of Living, Natural Phenomena, Effects of Current, Natural Resources etc.
2. Basic Mathematics: Number Systems, Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Statistics & Probability etc.
Full Time Diploma in Pharmacy
