HPCET - 2024

  Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) is organized by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) to provide BTech/BPharm/BHMCT & BSc/MTech/MPharm/MSc/MBA/BBA/MCA/BCA admissions into the participating institutes of the state. HPCET is held offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test at various exam centres.

   Candidates should have passed class 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University

Compulsory Subjects

  Candidates should have Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics / Business Studies/Entrepreneurship as per Appendix-C.

HPCET qualifying marks

  Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks in the above-mentioned subjects taken together

  The minimum score is 40% for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
