MICAT - 2024
MICAT is an MBA entrance exam conducted by MICA, Ahmedabad for admissions into their two year Post Graduate Diploma (PGDM) or Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communications (PGDM-C) program. The exam is conducted every year in two slots, one in December and one in February, through an online mode. The Phase I registration will usually start in September. There are around 140-150 questions in MICAT with a duration of 165 minutes.
The primary eligibility criteria for MICAT is:
Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree of a minimum 3 years course duration.
Candidates can possess an educational qualification equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in any field that is recognised by the AIU.
Students in the final year of the undergraduate program are also eligible to apply for MICAT.
A valid CAT/XAT/GMAT Score is required.
MICAT Syllabus for Psychometric Test
The Psychometric Test in MICAT is one of the unique sections from other management entrance tests. This section tests the Behavioural Patterns and Character Traits of an aspirant. The Psychometric test is subjective and there is no fixed syllabus as it asks questions to find out about your personality. Some of the topics you can expect questions from are:

MICAT Syllabus for Descriptive Test
This section involves writing descriptive paragraphs; like essay writing, story writing, and passages for and against a certain topic, etc. You also get a set of pictures through which you have to create a story in this section. The Descriptive Test Section basically analyses the creative writing skills of the aspirants.
