UTTARAKHAND-JEEP - 2024

    Uttarakhand JEEP is a state-level examination conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER). This exam is organised to open the gates of admission into various polytechnic courses offered at various colleges in the state of Uttarakhand.

  Aspirants who scored a minimum of 35% marks in class 10 with science and Mathematics as mandatory subjects will be able to fill out the Uttrakhand JEEP 2024 application form. Aspirants preparing for the Uttarakhand Polytechnic exam must get familiar with the syllabus first.

 Syllabus

   Measurement, Motion in one dimension, Laws of Motion, Motion in two dimensions, Work, Power, and Energy, Linear Momentum and Collisions, Rotation of a rigid body about a fixed axis, Gravitation, Oscillatory motion, Mechanics of solids and fluids, heat and thermodynamics, Wave, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current, Magnetism in Matter, Electromagnetic induction, Ray Optics and Optical Instruments, Wave Optics, Modern Physics.

Chemistry 

   Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Redox Reactions, Chemical Equilibrium, and Kinetics, Acid-Base Concepts, Electrochemistry, Catalysis, Colloids, Colligative Properties of Solution, Periodic Table, Preparation and Properties, Thermochemistry,   General Organic Chemistry, Isomerism, IUPAC, Polymers, Carbohydrates, Solid State, Petroleum.

Maths

  Algebra, Probability, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Vectors, Dynamics, Statics.

Syllabus for Diploma in Engineering/Technology (Group E):

  The syllabus consists of different topics from Mathematics and Science (Physics and Chemistry).

  The topics will be asked from 10th class subjects. Some major topics are the General calculation of roots, cube roots, square roots, etc., Distance, Speed, Newton’s law, All states of Matter, catalysis, Aromatic compounds, etc.

Syllabus for Diploma in Pharmacy (Group P):

  This section will contain topics from different subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Candidates shall have option to choose anyone from the Biology and Mathematics subjects.

Syllabus for Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (Group H):

  The syllabus will have a total of four sections and questions will be asked from Reasoning & Logical Discussion, Numerical Ability, Scientific Aptitude English Language, and General Knowledge.

Syllabus for Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice (Group M):

  This section will consist of various topics from English & Hindi Comprehension, Reasoning & Intelligence, Numerical Ability, and General Awareness. All the sections will be mandatory.

Syllabus for PG Diploma in Computer Application (Group G):

  The syllabus shall have a total of five sections such as English Comprehension, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, General Intelligence, and General Awareness. Questions will be asked from these topics.

syllabus for Diploma in Textile Designing/Garments Technology/Fashion Designing (Group T):

  The syllabus will be at the 10th class level. The syllabus has been divided into three sections such as English & Hindi Comprehension, Reasoning & Intelligence, and General Awareness.

Syllabus for Diploma in Engineering-LE (Group A):

  The syllabus will consist of various topics such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and General Engineering.
