As per the MCC schedule, choice locking for the stray vacancy round will begin at 5 PM today and remain open till 11:55 PM. Students can modify or lock their preferences only after 5 PM. Earlier, the last date for choice filling and locking was November 9, which was later extended to facilitate candidates who missed the previous window.

The NEET UG stray round seat matrix for 2025–26 has also been released, showing available vacancies across participating medical and dental colleges. Aspirants are advised to review the seat matrix PDF before locking their choices to identify institutions with vacant seats.

In a related update, MCC has issued a notice for NRI candidates eligible for admission in MBBS/BDS courses. Following a detailed scrutiny process, the committee has published the list of eligible NRI candidates and outlined the priority order for seat allotment under the NRI category during the stray round.
