The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026 registration process is underway at the official website cmat.nta.nic.in. NTA has emphasized that incomplete applications or those without successful fee payment will not be accepted under any circumstances.
According to the advisory, candidates must carefully fill in personal and academic details, upload valid documents, and ensure the accuracy of all entered information. Once submitted, no changes will be permitted. Applicants are also advised to download and retain the confirmation page for future reference.
The CMAT 2026 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, and the exam date is expected to be announced soon. The eligibility criteria require a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, and final-year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit for appearing in CMAT.
The application fee for General (Male) candidates is ₹2,500, while Female, SC/ST, PwD candidates will have to pay ₹1,250. Candidates are advised to use secure payment modes and avoid last-minute transactions to prevent technical issues.
NTA has reiterated that applying for CMAT does not guarantee admission to management institutes. Admissions will depend on individual institute criteria, CMAT scores, and performance in further selection rounds such as GD and PI.
