JEST 2026 Registration Update
The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is set to close the application window for the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) 2026 today, March 25, 2026. Candidates who have not yet completed their JEST registration 2026 can submit their application online through the official website www.jest.org.in until 11:59 PM. Only those candidates who successfully register will be permitted to appear for JEST 2026.
The application fee for JEST 2026 is INR 600 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, while candidates from other categories are required to pay INR 1200. Applications without the payment of the prescribed fee will not be considered valid. According to the official schedule, the JEST 2026 examination will be conducted on April 12.
Steps to Complete JEST Registration 2026
Candidates must visit the official IISER JEST website to finish the registration process. Follow the steps below to apply:
Visit the official website www.jest.org.in - On the homepage, click on the “Application Portal” link to proceed
- Complete the JEST registration on the new page
- Log in using the generated credentials and fill out the application form
- Upload the required images and pay the application fee
- Submit the form online and take a printout for future reference

What Happens After the JEST 2026 Application Window Closes?
It is expected that IISER may open a correction window for JEST applications. However, there has been no official confirmation yet regarding the JEST 2026 correction dates. If the correction facility is not provided, the authorities will release the JEST 2026 hall ticket on April 6, 2026. Only candidates who have successfully registered will be able to download the JEST admit card 2026.
