KEAM 2026 Entrance Test Begins April 17: Important Timings, Instructions & Exam Day Rules: The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, is set to conduct the KEAM 2026 examinations starting tomorrow, April 17. Candidates must ensure they arrive at their respective exam centres according to the reporting time specified on their admit cards. Detailed information is provided below.


The KEAM 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 17, 28, 19, 20, 21, and 22. The test will be held for both Engineering and Pharmacy streams. The Engineering exams will take place from April 17 to April 22 between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, while the Pharmacy exams are scheduled from April 18 to April 20 between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM.

The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across designated centres located in all districts of Kerala as well as in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and the UAE. Candidates can check their allotted exam centre details on their admit cards.

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry their KEAM 2026 admit card along with a valid original photo ID proof such as a Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Aadhaar Card.


KEAM 2026 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates should carefully follow the guidelines listed below:

  • Candidates must report to the examination centre on the exam day with their admit card at the time mentioned on the hall ticket downloaded from the official website of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, cee.kerala.gov.in.

  • It is mandatory to reach the exam centre as per the reporting time specified on the admit card.

  • After the reporting time concludes, a mock test will be conducted to help candidates understand the computer-based test format. This will be followed by the actual entrance examination.

  • The Engineering entrance test will be objective in nature, lasting 3 hours, and will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The Pharmacy entrance test will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration with 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

  • Candidates must carry a valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License/PAN Card/Passport, etc.).

  • Electronic devices such as calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, and similar gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Once candidates enter the exam centre, they will not be permitted to leave until the exam concludes.

  • Parents or guardians are not allowed inside the building where the online examination is being conducted.

  • Candidates should bring necessary stationery items like pens and pencils. These items must not be shared with others inside the exam hall.

  • All instructions given by the invigilators must be followed strictly without exception.
