• Must have pursued schooling through regular full-time formal education.

• Should have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12 or its equivalent examination.

• For B.Tech and M.Tech Biotechnology, candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together.

• Applicants should have been born on or after July 1, 2005.
