* The revised schedule notes that seat numbers may increase due to cancellations from candidates allotted seats under the All India Quota (AIQ) in Round 3.
* Candidates who have registered earlier do not need to register again; however, they must upload documents, pay the required fees, and fill fresh choice lists for Round 3.
* Students allotted seats in AIQ Round 3 are not eligible to take part in the Maharashtra state counselling process.
* Preferences filled during CAP Round 2 will be treated as invalid, and candidates must submit new preferences for this round.

Candidates allotted seats in Round 3 must join their allotted college within the specified period; failing to do so may lead to forfeiture of their seat.
Vacant Seats & Participation
The revised round aims to fill vacant seats remaining after Round 2. Around 636 MBBS and 891 BDS seats are still available across Maharashtra, including 168 MBBS and 53 BDS seats in government colleges. The remaining seats are in private medical and dental institutions.
What Aspirants Need to Do
1. Check eligibility carefully, as candidates allotted seats under AIQ Round 3 cannot participate in the state round.
2. Log in using previous credentials, unlock the application if needed, upload updated documents, pay the required fee, and fill in new preferences.
3. Lock the choice list before the deadline of October 12 to ensure the form is considered.
4. Track announcements for the merit list on October 9 and the seat allotment result on October 15.
5. Report to the allotted college between October 16 and 20 to confirm admission.
