The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the revised merit list for Round 3 of the NEET UG 2025 counselling in Maharashtra. A total of 60,759 candidates (who submitted the registration fee) are listed in this revision.

Today is the final day for candidates to fill in their choices of colleges and courses for this round. Once the choicefilling window closes, the seat-allotment result will be declared on October 30.

This round has faced delays: earlier, the process was postponed after detection of forged documents and to accommodate newly approved medical seats. With the merit list now out, candidates eligible must act promptly — selecting and locking their preferences for MBBS/BDS (state quota) courses before the deadline.

One crucial point about if a candidate is allotted a seat in this Round 3, they cannot participate in any subsequent rounds of state counselling, regardless of whether they join the allotted college or not. Also, those who are allocated seats must report to the college and complete document verification and fee payment as per the schedule to secure admission.

For candidates whose names appear on the list: this is your chance to shape your future institution path. For those not listed, or who delay in entering their choices, the opportunity may slip away as the results get locked in.

In summary: the merit list is published, choicefilling ends today, seat allotment on 30 October. Once allotted, you must act to confirm your seat. Time is of essence.
