Candidates Must Report Between August 14 and August 20

The reporting window for Round 2 admissions will remain open for seven days, from August 14 to August 20, 2026.

During this period, candidates must physically report to their allotted institutions and complete all admission-related formalities.

The MCC has warned that failure to report within the specified deadline will automatically result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.

Seat Matrix Revised Before Round 2 Counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee introduced significant changes to the seat matrix before the commencement of Round 2 choice filling.

A total of 153 in-service Super Speciality seats were returned by the Tamil Nadu State Selection Committee and subsequently added to the counselling pool.

These seats were reinstated following an order issued by the Supreme Court.

In addition, eight DNB Super Speciality seats from five different institutions were withdrawn.

The withdrawn seats belonged to the following specializations:

• Neonatology

• Cardiology

• Surgical Oncology
