MCC Stray Vacancy 2025: Final Round to Fill Remaining MBBS Seats: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the Stray Vacancy Round as the last opportunity to fill any unoccupied MBBS and BDS seats across medical colleges after the completion of previous rounds of counselling. This round ensures that no seat remains vacant at the end of the admission process for the academic year 2025.

During the Stray Vacancy Round, candidates who are already registered with MCC but have not been allotted a seat in any earlier round are eligible to participate. Unlike previous rounds, no fresh registration is permitted at this stage. Allotment of seats is made purely based on the candidate’s NEET-UG merit and availability in respective institutions.

Medical colleges receive the final list of eligible candidates directly from MCC. Institutions are not allowed to entertain new applicants outside this list, ensuring transparency and fairness in the process. Once a seat is allotted in this round, the candidate must report to the allotted college within the stipulated time, as there is no further opportunity for seat upgradation or withdrawal.

The Stray Vacancy Round is crucial in maximizing the use of available MBBS and BDS seats nationwide, preventing any wastage and giving deserving candidates one last chance to secure admission in the ongoing academic session.
