About FMGE
The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is a mandatory licensure test for Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have obtained their primary medical qualifications from institutions outside India. Passing FMGE is essential to obtain provisional or permanent registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Councils to practice medicine in India.
