The revised NEET PG seat matrix has been uploaded on the official MCC website, and applicants are urged to review the updated details before completing their choice preferences.
Why the Seat Matrix Was Revised
According to MCC, the Round 1 seat matrix had to be modified due to key changes in available seats across various institutions:
- 239 new PG seats sanctioned by the National Medical Commission (NMC) in Deemed Universities have been added.
- 235 DNB seats (186 Government DNB + 49 Private DNB) have been withdrawn following information provided by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
With these modifications, the roster for DNB-offering government institutions has been updated accordingly. However, the All India Quota (AIQ) MD/MS seat matrix remains unchanged. Additional NMC-sanctioned seats for MD/MS and Deemed Universities will be included in Round 2.
