NEET PG Counselling 2025 Schedule Revised Again; Extended Choice Filling Date Triggers Concern Among Aspirants: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has once again revised the NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 1 schedule, extending the choice filling and locking window until November 21, 2025 (12 noon). This repeated delay has heightened uncertainty among medical aspirants who have been preparing to proceed according to the earlier announced dates.

As per the updated timeline, the Round 1 seat allotment result will now be declared on November 22, 2025, while candidates allotted seats must complete reporting and admission formalities between November 23 and December 1, 2025.

NEET PG 2025 Revised Counselling Dates (as of November 19)

Event Date
Round 1 Choice Filling & Locking 20 & 21 November 2025
Seat Allotment Result 22 Nov 2025
Reporting / Admission Window 23 Nov to 01 Dec 2025

Aspirants Express Frustration Over Delays

The latest extension has drawn strong criticism from NEET PG candidates nationwide. Many students have taken to social media to express disappointment over the “last-minute” changes, especially those juggling both All India Quota (AIQ) and state counselling rounds.

A user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote:
“This delay shows a lack of planning by MCC. We had already planned reporting based on earlier dates. Everything feels disrupted now.”

Aspirants say repeated postponements have affected their preparation, travel plans, and coordination with state-level counselling timelines.

What Candidates Should Do Now

MCC has advised candidates to revisit their choice preferences, especially since new seats may be added and a few withdrawn during the reshuffling. Students who wish to modify or rearrange their choices can do so until November 21, 2025.

Those who have already completed choice filling earlier may also exercise the option to update their preferences in line with the newly released seat matrix.
