NEET SS 2025 Postponed; New Exam Dates Slated for December 27 & 28 — NBEMS: In a significant update for medical aspirants, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the NEET Super Specialty (NEET-SS) 2025 exam has been postponed. The test, originally scheduled for November 7 and 8, 2025, will now be held on December 27 and 28, 2025.

What’s Behind the Change?

The new schedule was approved by both the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

While NBEMS has not publicly specified the reason for the postponement, the extended timeframe gives candidates additional time to prepare.

Revised Exam Schedule & Format

With the change, the NEET-SS 2025 exam will now be conducted as follows:

Dates: December 27 & 28, 2025

Shifts per day: Two sessions

Morning shift: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Candidates are advised to adjust their study timelines accordingly.

What Candidates Should Do Next

Monitor the NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in): Watch for the official notification and updates in the “Public Notice / Conduct of NEET SS” section.

Download and preserve the notice: Once published, save it for future reference and verification.

Revise preparation plan: Use the additional time to strengthen weaker topics, take more mocks, and refine test-taking strategies.

Check for Information Bulletin release: NBEMS is expected to issue the detailed information bulletin soon.

Implications for Aspirants

·         The postponement gives candidates extra weeks to prepare, but also demands good time management and discipline.

·         Aspirants must stay alert to any further announcements, particularly regarding application deadlines, admit card release, and exam guidelines.

·         Since changes can cause uncertainty, candidates are strongly urged not to rely on unofficial sources or rumors, but to depend on formal notices from NBEMS.
