Earlier, the last date for choice filling and locking was November 9, 2025, but it has now been pushed by two days. Although the MCC has not provided an official reason for the extension, it is widely speculated that the date has been revised following an update in the seat matrix for the round.

Additional Seat Added in AIQ

As per the notification released on November 7, 2025, one MBBS seat has been newly added under the OBC-PwD category at Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, for the All India Quota (AIQ).

With this update, a total of 1,232 seats are available in this round across MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing courses.

Seat Allotment Result Likely to be Rescheduled

The seat allotment result for the Stray Vacancy Round, previously scheduled for November 12, 2025, is now expected to be postponed. MCC is yet to announce revised dates for the result declaration and subsequent reporting at allotted institutes.
