VTUEEE 2026 registration is now open at veltech.edu.in. Candidates who have qualified 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) are eligible to apply.
The Vel Tech University Engineering Entrance Examination (VTUEEE) is conducted by Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technologyfor admission to its B.Tech programmes. The entrance test will be held in two phases, each with two slots, and candidates can choose between online (CBT) or offline (pen and paper) modes.

VTUEEE 2026 Exam Pattern
- Mode: Online (CBT) and Offline (Pen & Paper)
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
- Medium: English
- Total Marks: 360
- Total Questions: 90 (30 each from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
- Marking Scheme: +4 for each correct answer, -1 for every wrong answer (¼ negative marking)
VTUEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
For Regular Admission
- Passed or appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories).
- Students appearing for the March/April/May 2026 board exams are also eligible.
For Direct Admission
- Completed 10+2 from any recognized board (CBSE/State Board).
- Minimum 60% marks in PCM subjects.
For Lateral Entry (B.Tech 2nd Year)
- Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized State Board of Technical Education, or
- B.Sc. degree (10+2+3 system) with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Scholarship
Students securing top ranks in their +2 (state board or equivalent) examinations are eligible for the VTUEEE Scholarship, offered under Vel Tech University’s merit-based financial aid scheme.
