XIM University, Bhubaneswar, has officially extended the deadline for MBA admissions. Interested candidates must ensure that the XIM University MBA application form is submitted on or before January 10. During the application process, applicants can select the entrance examination score they wish to use for admission consideration.
XIM University conducts XGMT 2026 as a university-level entrance examination for MBA admissions. Candidates who possess valid scores from national-level management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, among others, are not required to appear for XGMT. However, submission of the online application form is compulsory for all applicants, regardless of the entrance exam chosen.
Candidates who apply through the XGMT application form will be issued their admit cards on January 20. The XGMT 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on January 25, and the results will be announced on January 31. Following the declaration of results, XIM University will release shortlisting calls for candidates selected for the subsequent stages of the admission process.
About XGMT 2026 Exam
The XGMT examination is structured by XIM University to assess candidates across the following four sections:
- Quantitative Aptitude (QA)
- Data Interpretation (DI)
- Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA & LR)
- Emotional Quotient and General Awareness (EQ & GA)
The examination is conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. On the day of the exam, candidates must attempt all questions in a section within the allotted time. If a candidate completes a section before the designated time limit, they will be required to wait until the next section begins.
According to the XGMT marking scheme, each correct answer carries three marks, while every incorrect response results in a negative marking of one mark.
