Government Medical College, Dungarpur, is one of the newer government-run medical institutions in Rajasthan, established in 2018. It functions under the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Admission Criteria

MBBS Admission

Candidates must have qualified higher secondary education to be eligible for the MBBS course and have to appear for the NEET examination to be selected.The duration of the course is 4.6 years with an internship of 1 year and students who have qualified 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education can apply for admission. Biology should be the major subject in the qualifying examination.

Facilities Offered @Government Medical College, Dungarpur

The nearest ATM is located about 5 to 8 km away in the city, as the college is in the village. Electricity and water supply are sometimes irregular. The college has volleyball and basketball courts, but no football or cricket fields. The classroom and library are both slightly above average. There are three or four messes available now around the periphery of the college, so there are options. There's a good canteen in the college. The gym is also situated in the college and is facilitated with the required equipment. Medical facilities in a medical college are not a big deal, and also, there is a specially dedicated ambulance for the students.
