Admission Procedure

AIIMS Hyderabad admission requires candidates to appear for national-level entrance exams like NEET UG for MBBS or INI CET for PG courses, followed by a centralized counseling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats. Candidates must register for the counseling, attend the session to receive a seat based on their rank, pay the required fee, complete document verification, and obtain a medical fitness certificate to confirm their admission

B.SC nursing - 4 Years Course

Admission Process

• Admission is through an entrance exam conducted by the institute (for paramedical / BSc courses) — often referred to as the “AIIMS BSc / Paramedical Entrance Exam”. 

• After clearing the entrance exam, candidates have to participate in counselling / choice filling (if applicable), then document verification & fee payment to finalize admission.

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with PCB + English. 

• Minimum aggregate marks vary by course:

  • For BSc Nursing (General / OBC / EWS): ~ 55% in PCB + English. For SC/ST, lower threshold (e.g. ~50%). 

  • For paramedical BSc courses (MLT, OTA, Imaging etc.), ~ 50% for General/OBC/EWS (and ~ 45% for SC/ST).

  • Applicants must be Indian citizens.

• Minimum age (for some courses) — many sources indicate that candidate should be at least 17 years in year of admission.

MBBS - 5.5 Years Coures

Admission Process

• Admissions are via the national entrance exam NEET-UG. You must appear for NEET‑UG and obtain a valid score. 

• After qualifying NEET, you must register for counselling via the central counselling body (Medical Counselling Committee, MCC). Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, seat availability, reservation category, etc. 

• Once allotted a seat, you must report to AIIMS Bibinagar for document‑verification, medical fitness evaluation (if required), fee payment and confirmation formalities.

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) + English. 

• Minimum aggregate marks in qualifying exam: generally 50% for general category (some sources mention 50% in PCB + English) 

• Age: candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of year of admission. 

• Indian citizenship.

MD/MS - 3 Years Course

Admission Process

• Admission is via national‑level entrance exam INI‑CET (for all INIs including AIIMS institutions). 

• After qualifying INI‑CET and meeting cutoff, you participate in counselling/seat allocation for preference of institute and branch. 

• Upon seat allotment, submit application form to AIIMS Bibinagar, go through document verification, pay fees, and complete other formalities.

Eligibility

• Must hold a recognized MBBS degree. 

• Must have completed 1‑year compulsory rotating internship (as required for all medical PG admissions).

• Minimum MBBS aggregate: often 55% (for general); for reserved categories there may be relaxation. 

• Indian citizenship; must be physically and mentally fit.

DM/M.CH - 3 Years Course

Admission Process

• Registration & Application

  • Apply online at NBE NEET-SS official website during the registration period.

  • Submit required documents: MD/MS/DNB degree certificate, provisional certificate (if final not yet issued), valid ID, and other category certificates (if applicable).

• Examination

  • NEET-SS is computer-based, single or two-stage exam depending on the discipline.

  • Tests subject knowledge in the relevant MD/MS specialty.

• Result & Merit List

  • NBE releases rank lists / merit lists based on NEET-SS score.

  • Separate merit list for each specialty and type of seat (AIIMS, all India quota, state quota).

• Counselling / Seat Allotment

  • AIIMS institutes conduct their own counselling using NEET-SS rank for super-specialty seats.

  • Candidates can select preferred institute + specialty during counselling.

  • Seat allotment depends on rank, category, and seat availability.

• Document Verification & Admission

  • After seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted AIIMS.

• Internship / Training

  • Some institutes require 1-year experience in relevant specialty or completion of the degree before joining the super-specialty course.

• Age Limit

  • No specific upper age limit as per NBE guidelines.
