The university was founded by the MIT Group of Institutions, spearheaded by Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, with a goal to revolutionize education by promoting interdisciplinary learning and creative enterprise.

Admission Criteria

B.Tech Admission

Avantika University, Ujjain, offers a Bachelor of Technology program with various specializations, which is also their flagship program. The goal of this four-year, full-time, on-campus program is to equip students with technical knowledge as well as practical skills. The curriculum integrates design thinking, project-based learning, and industry exposure to prepare students for professional roles. Students are admitted to the B.Tech program through national entrance exams such as the Avantika Aptitude Test (AAT) or JEE Main. Shortlisted candidates are invited to counselling, where seats are distributed based on their entrance exam scores, desired specializations, and academic standing.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 (from any State Boards / CBSE / ICSE / ISC / CIE / IB / NIOS / equivalent examination) with Physics, English, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
  
• 50% aggregate in the subject group Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry / Vocational Subject
  
• Students must have a valid score in the Avantika Aptitude Test (AAT) or national-level exams such as JEE Main.
  
• Candidates appearing in the Class 12 examination in the current academic year are also eligible to apply, subject to meeting the final qualifying criteria at the time of admission.

B.Des. Admission

Avantika University, Ujjain, offers a Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) program with different specializations. The course is offered on campus full-time for four years. For admission, candidates need to pass a national design entrance exam, such as the UCEED or the Avantika Design Aptitude Test (ADAT). Seat distribution is based on program preference, entrance exam scores, and merit.

B.Des. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or its equivalent in any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) from a recognized board
  
• A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is required.
  
• Candidates must have passed a national design entrance exam, or the Avantika Design Aptitude Test or the UCEED.
  
• Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a studio test and in-person interview before being admitted.

MBA Admission

Avantika University in Ujjain offers a Master of Business Administration program. It is a two-year, full-time, on-campus MBA program. A valid score on national entrance exams like the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or Avantika Aptitude Test (AAT) is required for admission to the MBA program. Shortlisted candidates then need to appear for group discussions and in-person interviews; their overall performance will determine their admission.

Our facilities - Fitness Center (Gym), Indoor Sports Courts, Outdoor Playing Fields - are only a few minutes' walk from the hostels and classrooms. They include indoor sports courts for table tennis, chess, carrom, plus pitches for cricket, basketball, football, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, and tug of war. Transport

The transportation services provide on-campus and off-campus shuttle services for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors throughout the year, and help them get around. The campus shuttle routes operate on a continuous loop, providing the riders with reliable and timely transportation from and to Ujjain.The service is offered by intimating the travel request to the Transport Officer at least 24 hours in advance.
