Admission Procedure

The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) in Rajasthan was formally inaugurated on March 2009 by the Parliament in an act declaring it as a central university. The university which is located in Ajmer district of Rajasthan is completely funded by the Government of India.The Central University of Rajasthan aims to inculcate quality into all aspects of higher education. It strives to become India’s most dynamic and vibrant universities by being always ready to answer the rapidly changing global trends. CURAJ offers more than 50 masters courses and numerous PhD programs through its 29 departments. The University operates from its permanent campus which is approximately 550 acres big. It also offers hostels to house nearly 2000 students on campus.The University offers admission to both undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses of BTech, BSc, B.Ed., MBA, MTech, MSc, M.Pharm., and PhD in various course subjects as per the choice of candidates. CURAJ has released a notice regarding BTech admission through JoSAA counselling of 2020. They have also released the admission list of selected candidates for PhD admission of 2020.

Admission Criteria

B.Tech. Admission Process

To secure admission into BTech courses at the Central University of Rajasthan, a candidate should follow the steps mentioned below.

1. Fill the CURAJ admission form and then submit it.

2. Appear for the CUCET entrance exam conducted by CURAJ.

3.To be eligible for final admission, meet the CURAJ BTech cutoff requirement to qualify.

4. Once completed, the University will conduct counselling for final seat allotment. Hence, participate in the counselling process of CURAJ.

5.  When candidates are allotted a seat, they should follow the formalities and pay the required fees.

BTech Admission Through JEE MAIN/CUCET

The University offers admissions for BTech through JEE MAIN/CUCET. The procedures for admissions of BTech include:

1. Candidates should fill and submit the university admission form

2. Then they should appear for either JEE MAIN/CUCET.

3. Candidates should meet the entrance exam cut offset by the University for admissions.

4. Selected candidates will have to pay for fees and submit all the required documents.\

MTech  Admission Process

Admissions for MTech courses at CURAJ are made through GATE through the following steps.

1. Fill and submit the admission form given by the University.

2. Appear for GATE and check the entrance score required by the University.

3.Candidates meeting the cutoff score of GATE will be allotted a seat in the University.

4.Selected candidates should follow formalities and pay fees. 

Placement

Central University of Rajasthan placement 2022 has been released for the PG courses offered at the university. According to the CURAJ placement data for 2022, out of 525 students in the PG 2-year course, 168 students were placed, and the median package offered was INR 2.63 LPA.The Central University of Rajasthan placement is offered across all PG courses. In 2022, for the PG 3-year course the median salary stood at INR 1.03 LPA and for the PG-5years course stood at INR 2.35 LPA. The “University Health Centre”, has a team of professionals providing health care and creating health awareness. Facilities available are: ECG machine, O2 Concentration machine, Nebulization machine, Blood glucose monitoring, Rapid test kits to detect malaria HIV, HBsAg and to check blood group, wheelchair facility in the event of an accident, facility for indoor management, up to date stock of medicines to combat any emergency, well-equipped emergency van with referral facility to higher centre, collaboration with both govt. and private hospitals for easy referral and follow up.

Sports Facilities The University has excellent facilities for sports & games. Regular Sports classes for cricket, basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis and others are held.
