College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology is a constituent of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University popularly known as HAU, was established in 1991. It is named after India's seventh Prime Minister, Choudhary Charan Singh. It is accredited by AICTE.

For admission in the B. Tech program, the eligible candidates will have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Admission to M. Tech is done through Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted jointly by the IISC and IITs.

Scholarship based on percentage.

The college has a Transport facility for the students.
