Admission Criteria

Medical Admissions

DY Patil University Navi Mumbai offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Medical stream. Candidates applying to UG programs must clear 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with at least 50% marks. MBBS candidates must undergo one year of compulsory rotating internship. Six months internship is compulsory for BPT. Valid NEET UG score card is required for selection to MBBS, BAMS, BPT and BDS courses.
DY Patil University offers MD, MS, MDS courses at PG level in various disciplines. Minimum eligibility for MD and MS is an MBBS course from a MCI recognized institute with a compulsory one year Rotatory internship. Aspirants for MDS courses should have passed BDS with 50% marks. Selections to PG courses are done on the basis of NEET PG. For Ayurveda courses, candidates applying should have passed BAMS with at least 50% marks.

Nursing & Allied Health Sciences Admissions

DY Patil Navi Mumbai offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. The university offers 4 year Basic Nursing course, 3 year Post basic Nursing course and 2 years M.Sc course in Nursing. Candidates should have cleared 10+2 in PCM/B subjects, with English as a compulsory subject. For M.Sc in Nursing, applicants should have done a basic Nursing course with 55% marks. For Post basic Nursing and M.Sc course candidates should have obtained a certificate in General nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.

Placement

Scholarship

The college has a varied fee structure depending on the course, ranging from 80,000 INR per year for Radio Imaging Technology to 26 lakh INR per year for MBBS. The architecture course had a fee of 3 lakh INR per year in 2022, which increased to 3.75 lakh INR in 2024. The BSc Physician Assistant course cost 1 lakh INR per annum in 2020, with reported increases. Fees for the BBA core course are 1.5 lakh INR annually.

Additionally, there are miscellaneous charges for exams, registration, and materials. Scholarships are available for minority and economically backward classes, SC/ST students, and meritorious students. The university offers student loans, but there is no general scholarship for all students. Some scholarships and financial assistance are contingent on academic performance, and certain government schemes are available. The total cost for a 4-year course can reach up to 16 lakh INR. The college provides detailed guidance on loan facilities, though actual educational loans are typically managed through banks.

The auditoriums are designed in such a way that they ensure a perfect view of the main stage irrespective of the seating location of the audience.
