Admission Procedure

Admission to Dr. Patnam Mahender Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences (PMRIMS) for both undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) programs is based on the candidate's performance in the relevant NEET entrance exam, followed by centralized counseling conducted by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) in Telangana

Admission Process

• You must appear in the NEET‑UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and obtain a valid score. Admission solely depends on your NEET‑UG performance. 

• After qualifying NEET‑UG, you need to register for Telangana state counselling, typically conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) or the state authority.

• During counselling, select PMRIMS as one of your preferred colleges. 

• Seats are allotted based on your NEET rank, availability of seats, reservation category, and choices filled during counselling. 

• If allotted a seat, report to the college with original documents for verification and complete the admission formalities.

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English from a recognized board.

• General category: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB.

• Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC): Minimum 40% aggregate.

• PWD candidates: Minimum 45% aggregate. 

• Must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December of the admission year. 

• Must qualify NEET‑UG with the required percentile/score.

MD / MS - 3 Years Course

Admission Process

• Qualify in NEET PG
  You must appear in NEET PG conducted by the National Board of Examinations and obtain a valid score.

• Register for PG Counselling
  After NEET PG results, register for PG counselling through KNRUHS Telangana or central or state counselling authorities.

• Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
  Fill preferred colleges and specializations and wait for seat allotment based on rank category and seat availability.

• Reporting and Verification
