About

This College was established by the Medical & Health Department, Govt. of Rajasthan in 1965. On 17th July 1965, the first batch of 75 students was admitted. Subsequently, the number of admissions per year increased to 250. The first batch of this college graduated in 1969. That year, this college was named after the renowned educationalist, politician, and freedom fighter, Dr. Sampurnanand. In 1975, postgraduate courses commenced. At present, this Institute is conducting 21 PG courses for 111 students every year.

The college has an Auditorium, a Council Hall, and an air-conditioned Library including e-library. Lecture theatres including virtual class room with Audio-visual facilities, Laboratories for all non clinical subjects (Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology) and a Dissection Hall for Anatomy are in place. Sports facilities include a Tennis Court, Badminton Court, a Cricket Ground, and a Swimming Pool.

Admission Procedure

SNMC Jodhpur Courses are offered at UG, PG, Doctorate level. There are 41 courses offered at SNMC Jodhpur. The courses are offered disciplines like Medical, Paramedical, Science. SNMC Jodhpur courses includes B.Sc, MBBS, Diploma. Popular courses at SNMC Jodhpur are B.Sc, MBBS, Diploma.Admission to the MBBS course is based on the performance of the candidates in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).Only those candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-Chemistry and English with minimum 50% marks are eligible for NEET.

Dr. SN Medical College and Hospital MBBS Admission 2024

Dr. SN Medical College and Hospital, Jodhpur offers admission to MBBS program on the basis of NEET ranking every year. Seats are allotted through NEET counseling process, which is conducted immediately after the declaration of NEET result. Seats are available for All India Quota as well as State Quota. Seats are reserved for the following minority criteria i.e. OBC, SBC, SC and ST.

Note: 4 of the total available seats are reserved under Government of India category, 1 each for students hailing from the states of Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Mizoram.

Dr. SN Medical College PG and Super-Specialty Courses Admission 2024: MD, MS, M.Ch & DM

• Admission to MD, MS, M.Ch and DM courses are offered as per the rules governed by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS). Candidates applying for admission in the PG courses are also required to have completed the internship in the relevant department
• The candidates will beconsidered for admission on the basis of merit in NEET-PG. NEET-PG is a national level entrance examination conducted to grant admission in MD and MS programs.For DM and M.Ch courses,the candidates have to qualify in NEET-SS (exclusively for Super Specialty programs) conducted at the National Level followed by counsellin

Key Point: Candidates are eligible for admission to the DM, M.Ch. and M.Sc. courses if they have obtained any one of MS in Surgery for Plastic Surgery, Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery, and Pediatric Surgery, MS in Surgery / Orthopedics / ENT for Neurosurgery or MD in Medicine / Pediatrics for Cardiology or Neurology.

Initially, the candidates have to apply for the respective entrance examination and after the declaration of result, they can directly apply to the college with respect to their score in NEET-UG, NEET-PG or NEET-SS (whatever applicable). The candidates can apply online for NEET by following the given steps:

3. The application fee is INR 1400 for UR / OBC candidates and INR 750 for SC / ST and PWD candidates which can be paid through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
