The college is located in pollution free environment and conducive ambience, about 65 km North of Pune, on Pune-Nashik highway (NH-50) and 65 km from holy shrine Bhimashankar, in the land of Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. College campus is spread over 50 acre area with huge academic buildings along with a separate administrative and workshop buildings, a separate residential zone with quarters for faculty and staff and hostels. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai controls institute through its Regional office at Pune.
We not only concentrate on imparting technical education but also focus to inculcate social and moral values in our students so as to make them responsible citizens of India. Admission Process : Government College of Engineering & Research, Avasari Khurd Application Process. Candidate who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply.

Scholarship Provisions :
This is the college with the lowest fee structure for the open category around 25k and other castes have to pay fees less than that of 25k . If you are from the open category having less income than 8 lakh then you can also apply for ebc and we have to pay fees of around 17k only. You are also able to apply for panjabrao scholarship for hostel and many more scholarships are there you can apply according to the criteria in which you fit. Our college also provide internships and there are campus for placement
