Government Medical College, Churu, established in 2018, is one of the newer government medical institutions in Rajasthan. It is affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college is attached to the District Hospital, Churu, which serves as its teaching hospital, providing clinical training and healthcare services to the region.

The college currently offers the MBBS program with an annual intake of around 100–150 students, along with internship opportunities. Despite being relatively new, the institution is steadily expanding its infrastructure, academic departments, laboratories, and clinical facilities.

Admission Criteria

MBBS Admission

Candidates must have qualified higher secondary education to be eligible for the MBBS course and have to appear for the NEET examination to be selected.The duration of the course is 4.6 years with an internship of 1 year and students who have qualified 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education can apply for admission. Biology should be the major subject in the qualifying examination.

Aspirants applying for the MBBS course must have qualified 10+2 for CBSE or equivalent board.
Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology.

MBBS Selection Process

Placement

There is internship available after fourth year of the course. And there is also stipend given to the apprentice around twenty five thousand rupees per month. We go to hospital in internship and examine the patients.
