OUR HISTORY
H.M.S. Education Society®, Tumkur (Karnataka) has a long history of over three decades in imparting Technical, Para Medical and General Education for the benefit of the eligible candidates in India and abroad.

The society was established during the year 1980-81 by veteran Educationalist Sri.S.Shafi Ahmed, Ex. MLA, founder chairman of the Society. He is the driving force behind all the developments of the Society.

To begin with, in 1980, a polytechnic was started with just four branches. Four more branches were added subsequently. Since then, under his able leadership, the H.M.S. Education Society has never looked back.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO B.ARCH.
Qualifying exam
1. Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent exam with mathematics as compulsary optional subject and obtained a minimum pf 50% of marks in aggregate in all the subjects(45% for SC, ST, OBC)
2. Candidate should compulsorily qualify in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) Conducted by the Council of Architecture or JEE paper-2 examination to get the eligibility for admission to Architecture course.

The HMS Institute of Technology holds Placement drives to help students get jobs in esteemed organisations. The campus placements assist students in finding better work options and compensation. The recruiters visit HMSIT and choose qualified individuals for the available position based on their requirements. In addition, the students receive practical instruction from the members of the Training and HMSIT Placement Cell. This helps the students prepare for interviews and improves their performance by allowing them to take part in the mock interviews and mock exams that are held by the cell. The fees are 75,000 for engineering till yet as I have been studying there, I saw no hike in fees structure One from a middle-class family can easily complete engineering without any major financial burdens The scholarship we apply for is the national scholarship portal merit cum means For loan, kmdc arivu scheme is there, but the manir drawback of college lies in campus placements there has been no such good placements yet as I am still in my 3rd-year haven't been to placements yet
