Admission Criteria

B.Tech Admission

JNTUH offers a 4-year B.Tech program in 24 different specialisations. The major specialisations offered include Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information & Technology. Further, the university also offered admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry. JNTUH B.Tech fees range from INR 2.58 Lakhs to 4.61 Lakhs.

B.Pharm Admission

Apart from offering B.Tech at the undergraduate level, JNTUH also offers a 4-year B.Pharm program based on valid scores in TS EAMCET/ AP EAMCET / TSBIE.

Placement

JNTU Hyderabad Placement 2025 report has been released. According to 2025 data, the highest package was offered at INR 26.35 LPA, while the Median package was INR 6 LPA. The Percentage of Students Placed was 65% and a Total of 110 Companies Visited for the recruitment. Scholarship

The college offers various scholarships and financial aid options to support students. GPAT-qualified students receive a monthly stipend of INR 12,000, while GATE-qualified students receive INR 12,400 per month for up to 24 months. PGCET students have their fees paid by the state government. The Telangana government provides fee reimbursement scholarships, with full tuition covered for SC/ST students and partial coverage (up to INR 35,000) for BC/EBC students. The Jagananna Vasathi Deevena scheme offers INR 53,000 for M.Tech students.

Management students may receive up to INR 1 lakh through the Epass scholarship. The overall tuition fee varies, with general students paying approximately INR 1,00,000 annually, while reserved categories receive varying refunds. The college assists in applying for Telangana Epass and CSSS scholarships, and additional financial aid options include national scholarships and state-specific programs like the Janmabhumi Scholarship for Andhra Pradesh students. Facilities Offered @ Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad

The Library was started for erstwhile IPGSR (Institute of Post Graduate Studies & Research) on a spacious floor in the Academic block on the Main Campus of the JNT University at Masab Tank, Hyderabad. It was upgraded as the University Library in the year 1990. In 2004, the University Library was shifted to a new building of 45,000 Sq.ft area extended in 3 floors at Kukatpally Campus. The Library is centrally located in the campus keeping in view the accessibility to all the Units. The University Library caters to the needs of all JNTUH University Units and the Constituent Colleges.The University Library is a central facility supporting the teaching and research activities of the University.The University is having canteen facility which provides hygienic food at reasonable rates to cater the needs of staff, students and visitors of the University.

The University has two Auditoriums namely Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium and UGC Auditorium with a seating capacity of 1050 and 330 respectively which is used for the conduct of Convocations, Conferences, Workshops, University / College functions etc. In addition to the above, all the constituent colleges / units have Seminar and Conference Halls to meet the academic requirements.University has various seminar halls to accommodate different sizes of conferences or events depending on the requirement to conduct international / national conferences, workshops and mini workshops.The University has guest house with 53 rooms on the campus. In addition to this ASC guest house with 3 Executive rooms is available.The University is having canteen facility which provides hygienic food at reasonable rates to cater the needs of staff, students and visitors of the University.
