JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) was established in 2011. It is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The University has a variety of Bachelor’s, Masters and doctorate degree programs. The candidates can take admission by filling out the online application form from the university website. JKLU offers courses in Engineering and Technology, Management, and Designing fields. Interested applicants can apply for the program at jklu.edu.in. Admission will be granted on the basis of the entrance score of UCEED or JKLU DET for B.Des course and on merit basis for the rest of the courses.

Registration starts in the month of March every year. The University follows both online and offline modes of admission. Admission to the courses in the university is made through entrance exams or merit secured in the qualifying exam.

JK Lakshmipat University offers research programs in various disciplines of Management and Engineering. In its bid to encourage education and research, the University also has provision for:

• Exemption of Tuition Fees for full-time researchers.
• Monthly stipend for INR 20000/-.

The eligibility criteria for various courses are mentioned below.

*Note: Candidates securing less than 55% marks in the Master’s Degree but wishes to take admission in the Ph.D. program, should have passed a post-graduate diploma from AIU recognized or AICTE approved Institution with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

JKLU Application Process 2023

The candidate has to follow simple steps in order to apply online. Registration for all the UG, PG and Ph.D. courses start in the month of January. 

• Application and Admission process: Students can complete the admission process, starting from the completion of Application to appearing for the Entrance Tests, followed by Personal Counselling Interaction Round (PCI) & Portfolio Round (PR) for Design aspirants, and uploading of documents, through both online and offline mode. Candidates opting for the online mode of application need to visit the University's website and are required to fill up an application form and make the fee payment of INR 750/- through Net banking/ Debit card or Credit card.
• Proctored Test/ Interaction Round from Home: JK Lakshmipat University has also initiated to remotely conduct the proctored entrance tests online along with remote video interaction rounds for admissions to design courses only.

Scholarships for B. Tech. Programme offered at Institute of Engineering & Technology

To encourage and support meritorious applicants, JKLU has a very distinctive scholarship programme. Applicant may qualify for a scholarship up to full waiver of the University Academic Fee.

The Scholarship offered has two components:

Assured - Assured component is guaranteed for four years.

Merit based - Merit based component, which is subject to maintaining a specified minimum academic performance.

Scholarship is awarded based on:

• Academic Performance in Class X & Class XII marks. (Only for those who have passed class XII in 2021/2022/2023.)
• Performance in JEE 2021/2022/2023, if available.
• Exceptional performance in co-curricular activities (Sports, Cultural, Social Service etc.) reserved with VC.

For the purpose of awarding scholarship, the 10th and 12th class scores will be computed as follows:

• For Class X Score: English, Maths, Social Studies, Science and fifth subject as per University norms.
• For Class XII Score: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English (total of four subject]

Scholarship based on JEE Mains Percentile as follows (only for B.Tech.)

Scholarship on the basis of exceptional performance in co-curricular activities (Sports, Cultural, Social Service etc.)

The scholarship level will be upgraded by one level in case of exceptional achievements in any other sphere by the student. Any such upgradation in scholarship level will have to be approved by VC on the recommendation of a Committee set up for this purpose.

Relaxation in Scholarship criteria for special cases

(Relaxation will be for only one category, even if the candidate belongs to more than one category.)

Continuation of scholarship in consecutive years

Scholarships awarded at the time of admission will continue for the normal duration of the program subject to the student achieving a specified minimum level of performance as given in the table below:

Every month, the deadline for application will be the last date of the month. The admission decision will be communicated within 1-2 weeks, and the initial payment to confirm the admission will have to be made within one week of the admission offer.

For those who have taken the 12^th class exams and do not have the scores available at the time of application, they will be governed by the rules applicable on the date of application/confirmation of admission. Hence it is advantageous for everyone to apply early, even without the scores of 12^th class.
