Admission Criteria

B.Tech Admissions Process

Jodhpur NationalUniversity offers undergraduate programs such as Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) and B.tech Lateral in various specializations such as Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The university also offers a Dual Degree B.Tech + MBA in Engineering & Management Studies. The duration period is different for each of the courses.

For admission in the B.Tech or in the Dual Degree program, the candidates who have successfully completed
their 10+2 level or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible. However, the students need to appear in Joint Entrance Exam JEE MAIN  conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

M.Tech Admissions Process

At the postgraduate level,Jodhpur National University offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree program
in various specializations such as Electrical Engineering-Power Systems, Civil Engineering -Transportation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering- Thermal Engineering,Civil Engineering- Geotechnical Engineering, Production Engineering,Instrumentation and Controls Electrical, Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, Computer Science and Digital Communication. All the specializations are offered for a duration period of two years each.

In order to get admission in M.Tech, the candidates will have to appear in Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering GATE  conducted by the IITs and IISC. Only those candidates are eligible for this course who have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the Bachelor’s degree of Engineering.

The campus has a 100% placement record. The university provides students with training in leading multinational companies. This university has an active placement cell and conducts an annual job fair every year. Its mission is to make India employable, and this job fair is a big success, with more than 2000 students from various parts of the country finding jobs here. Many corporate companies have come to the University to hire students for their internship programs, and they have placed some students in their organizations, including Infosys, Wipro, Tata, and IBM.
