The medical institute is known as KS Hegde Medical College, located in Mangalore, Karnataka. Every year in the KSHEMA, seats are offered on the basis of NEET examinations. The duration of all the MBBS courses is five and a half years (Including a one-year compulsory rotating internship). The duration of the B.Sc course is 3.5 years with a 6-month internship.
