KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The courses offered for KLS GIT Belagavi admissions are B.E, B.Arch, M.Tech, M.B.A, M.C.A and Ph.D in  engineering, architecture, computer application and IT, management and business administration and sciences streams. For KLS GIT Belagavi admission to B.E programme, candidates can apply either through COMEDK UGET/ KCET or JEE Main. Further, shortlisted candidates have to participate in COMEDK UGET/KCET counselling. Admission to B.Arch admission is done on the basis of candidates performance in NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. KLS GIT Belagavi admission to Ph.D programme is done based on candidates performance in the Visvesvaraya Technological University Eligibility Test (VTU-ETR) conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified UGC- NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ CAT or any other national level test are exempted from the VTU Entrance test (VTU- ETR).
