Lingaya's Institute of management and technology was established in 1988 and is a co-educational private college. The institute offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Lingaya's Institute of management and technology (LIMT) has been operating for over twenty years. Its campus is situated in Faridabad, Haryana, India. The campus was initially affiliated with Maharishi Dayanand University, but after that, it became a separate university. The UGC Act of 1956 declared it to be an "Institute of Higher Learning.

The LIMAT Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to transfer students. The scholarship ranges in value from1 lacs to 5 lacs per academic year, and recipients must have achieved a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and be accepted into one of the participating colleges. 

Lingaya's Vidyapeeth provides transport facility (AC Buses for Delhi) to its students through a fleet of buses, covering almost all major landmarks in Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad & Palwal. Students can board a bus after showing the bus pass to the bus in-charge, which will be issued to him/her in advance.
