Marwadi University (MU) is a prominent private university in Western India with a global vision to promote cultural understanding and encourage the next generation of world leaders by encouraging people and institutions across the globe. The University was established on 9 May 2016 and operates under the division of Marwadi Education Foundation's Group of Institutions (MEFGI) through The Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016.  It was established as a primary unit of MEFGI under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950.  Marwadi University is aided by the Marwadi Shares and Finance Limited, a stock broking company in India and Chandarana Intermediaries Brokers Pvt. Ltd. (CIBPL), a firm dealing in technical and arbitrage trading.

 
The MU campus is located on 32 acres of land on the Rajkot-Morbi Road, Rajkot, Gujarat.  The University is at a distance of nearly 40 minutes from the nearest Railway station and Airport.

 
The Government of Gujarat has granted Marwadi University with the status of “Centre of Excellence” (CoE).  This showcases that Quality Education, Excellent Research, Innovative Teaching Methodologies, Quality of Extension Services, High Employability and Entrepreneurship are being imparted.  It is graded A+ by NAAC, New Delhi.  Besides these, Marwadi University is equipped with the PARAMSHAVAK supercomputing facility.

 
Currently MU is offering over 50 different courses providing Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma and Doctoral degrees as well as Junior Research Fellowship and Certifications. These degrees are offered in a wide range of  faculties like Engineering, Science, Architecture, Business Management, Computer Applications, Commerce, Law, Pharmacy, Agriculture and Physiotherapy covering BE, BTech, MTech, Dip (Engg & Tech), BSc/BSc Hons, MSc, PGDip, BPharm, MPharm, BPhysio, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, LLB, BA/BA Hons, MA, BCom, D2D, B.Arch and PhD programs.  Admission to all programs offered by MU is governed as per the University guidelines and as per the ACPC, Govt. of Gujarat norms wherever applicable.

The Marwadi University comprises eight multi-storey buildings housing 2 Libraries with RFID technologies, Laboratories, modern Research facilities, Bank & ATM, 4 acre Indoor & Outdoor Sports facilities, round-the-clock Medical facilities, Auditorium, Amphitheatre, Seminar Halls, Transport facility, Cafeteria, Hostel with Internet, Canteen, Mess, Laundry, Dance Room, Library, etc. 

 
In addition the University gives hands-on learning experience to students and Faculty through its unique 3-Layer Structure where learning is divided into 3 parts with an aim to cultivate holistic development – 1. Learn and Gain knowledge 2. Develop existing skills and indentify ways to achieve goals 3. Become proficient in life skills through hands-on experience to gain confidence and learn to deal with real-life situations. 

 
A special Career Guidance Centre prepares students to face today’s global challenges through various Programs.  MU has numerous Student-led Academic, Technical, Non-technical and Recreational Clubs for nurturing their Holistic growth.  It also encourages students to take up Extra-curricular activities like NSS, NCC, Cultural and Social Service.  The Anti-Ragging Policy/Committee and Women’s Cell ensures safety of the Students and creates a conducive environment within the Campus through periodic workshops and awareness programs with the help of members drawn from among students, staff and faculty.

 
The MU Placement and Corporate Relations department ensures that deserving students get placed in Top companies in reputable positions.  The University hosts over 480 companies every year for their campus Recruitment Drives which have created over 10000 job opportunities for its Graduates.  Corporates like Reliance, Wipro, Castrol, Coca-Cola, Thermax, Mahibdra, Adani, Axis Bank, Atul, Matrix Telecom, Jio, Amazon, etc have been regulars to MU.

 
Marwadi University promotes Research-based education facilitated by the Super Computer – PARAM SHAVAK, MUJCAL (Marwari University Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd.) and MUIIR (Marwari University Innovation and Incubation Research).   The university offers Industry-Entrepreneurship Support by incorporating courses offered by leading Industries as a part of its curriculum. 

 
Another highlight is that more that 25% of Marwadi University students are from outside Gujarat. It has a dedicated International Relations Office to cater to students from over 50 countries in all aspects.  MU also facilitates International Exposure Programs by initiating relations with International Institutions, Associations and Organisations to collaborate with them in terms of initiatives and research as well as Student Exchange Programs by means of Erasmus+ Student and Staff Mobility.  It also counsels students and faculty on International Study, Research Grants, Schemes, Scholarships, etc.

Marwadi University admission 2024 offers a wide range of programs at the undergraduate, and postgraduate levels in the field of Humanities, Engineering, Management, Science, and Commerce. The courses offered at Marwadi University are BTech, BBA, BCA, BBA LLB, Bachelor of Hotel and Hospitality, MBA, MCA, Ph.D., etc.

Marwadi University for BTech in Automobile Engineering eligibility criteria involves the candidate scoring a minimum of 45% in their 12th in Science. Candidates can get Marwadi University admission to any of the courses if they fulfill the Marwadi University eligibility criteria and have valid scores in accepted entrance exams, like MU Entrance Test, GUJCET, JEE Main, NATA, GATE, CMAT, CLAT, LSAT, etc. Once the seat is allotted, candidates must register themselves, fill up the Marwadi University application form and upload the required documents.

Marwadi University UG Eligibility Criteria

For Marwadi University admission in BTech courses candidates must clear 12th (HSc) in Science with a minimum of 45% or equivalent qualification for international students
The students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration at Mrwari University shall have to pass the HSC examination (10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks. For international students, an equivalent education is preferable.
Candidates, who have passed 10+2 with 60% marks are eligible for admission to the BBA (Hons.) course
A candidate applying for the degree of BPT must have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
For pursuing BSc, a candidate must have at least 50% In HSc Science Stream

Marwadi University PG Eligibility Criteria

For MTech, candidates must clear BE/BTech/ in any branch of Engineering, MCA, MSc (Computer Science/IT), MSc (Physics/Mathematics/Statistics) with a PG diploma in Computer Science from a recognized Institute or Equivalent Degree. For international students, an equivalent degree of qualification is required.
For admission into MSc, candidates must at least score 50% in graduation in the science stream.
For pursuing MBA (Regular), 50% in UG (45% for reserved category) + Valid score of CMAT (Preferable). Eligible candidates will be called for a personal Interview.
For MCA, the candidate must have completed a BSc or BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, IT, or Cyber Security. The candidates must complete their graduation with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

Marwadi University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

For pursuing Ph.D. at Marwadi University, candidates must have a bachelor's or an equivalent degree with 55% aggregate marks along with a Master's or an equivalent degree with 55% Aggregate marks. For International Candidates, an equivalent level of qualification is necessary

Marwadi University transportation maintains a fleet of about 70 buses that run at regular intervals between the university and Rajkot, Morbi, Gondal, Dhrol, Wankaner, and Jasdan.

There is ample transportation facility available to and from Rajkot. Timely pick-up and drop is done by the bus drivers who drive with utmost safety.
