About NCET

Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology (NCET), a self-financing engineering college started in the year 2001 under the aegis of Nagarjuna Education Society, Bangalore. A leading Industrialist and philanthropist, Sri J.V. Rangaraju established Nagarjuna Education Society (NES) in 1995.

At present, NCET is one of the leading institutions in Bengaluru providing world-class education and its accomplishments showcase its credibility in terms of nation building through education.

Nagarjuna Group of Institutions was established in 1995 under the able guidance of its founder Shri JV Renga Raju. Nagarjuna College of Engineering & Technology is pursuing its mission today with some of the finest facilities in education from primary school to professional education. The institution has a lush green campus spread over 100 acres. The institution has an on-campus residential facility for boys, girls and for staff. The college is recognized as Nodal Centre for virtual lab facility which is sponsored by the MHRD, Government of India. The college is recognized by Government of Karnataka as a centre for Innovative Science and Engineering Education.

Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology MBA Admission

MBA course at NCET is offered for two years, and students will have to reach the selection parameters to get admission.
Admission for the MBA course at NCET will be based on PGCET / MAT / CAT / XAT / CMAT entrance exam score.
Basic Eligibility for MBA at NCET must be based on Bachelor's degree with 50% marks from a recognized board.
Applicants with eligible marks in the UG degree can appear in the PGCET entrance examination.
Students must also provide original documents before taking the entrance examination.
The applicants will have to reach the PGCET entrance exam score to get MBA admission at NCET.
Students who must have qualifying marks in the entrance exam will visit the allotted College to complete the application process.

Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology has a well established Training and Placement Cell and offers placement opportunities to its students as an extended activity. It not only provides placement assistance to NCET students but to the colleges surrounding it by acting as a host and inviting students from the neighboring colleges.

The Placement cell of NCET is focused and has a vision of 100% placement. The top companies visit the campus for IT circuit branches, Civil, Mechanical, Biotech and maximum numbers of eligible students get placed.

The cell has a dedicated team of coordinators who maintain a well structured database which gets updated from time to time and it is made available to the company as per the company norms. The placement cell not only conducts regular in house training but also organizes placement training by the industry experts. The in house training includes Aptitude ( Logical, Analytical, Technical and Verbal), Group Discussions, and Mock Interviews to make the students well versed with the placement process.

The State Government has started a fee waiver scheme to help the economically poor but meritorious students. Further information regarding this can be obtained from the office of the Registrar.

Education Loans

Getting Education is no longer an insurmountable problem these days. Education loans are available to the needy and deserving students from the Nationalized Banks at reasonable rates of interest. Theses loans are repayable after the completion of the degree/diploma.

Financial Help

It is a motto with the management of our Group, “Poverty would not be allowed to stand in the way of the completion of the education of meritorious students. Such students are generously helped. Academically intelligent and poor students to acquire higher education by giving them financial help in the form of tuition fee waiver. Relaxation in tuition fee is also given to merit position holders in the qualifying examinations/competitive examinations and position holders in the University examinations. The parents of meritorious students are also honoured along with the students in the annual functions of the Colleges.
