RNSIT Bangalore Admission Process

RNS Institute of Technology offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. RNSIT Bangalore admissions are offered to the following courses: B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech, M.B.A & M.C.A. RNSIT Bangalore admission to B.E/B.Tech courses are offered on the basis of Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK-UGET). M.E/M.Tech admissions are offered on the basis of Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) or GATE scores. Students wishing to take admission in RNSIT Bangalore M.B.A programme must have a valid score in the MAT/PGCET examination.

RNSIT Bangalore B.E/B.Tech Admission Process Through COMEDK- UGET
Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements have to apply and appear for Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK-UGET).

The COMEDK- UGET cutoff must be met by students.
Following the announcement of the results and rank list, candidates must participate in a centralised counselling process for choice filling and seat allocation.
Give RNSIT Bangalore preference for admission during choice locking and filling.
Seats are assigned to candidates during the counselling process based on their entrance score, choices made, document verification, and fee payment.
Once assigned a seat, candidates must get their documents verified and pay the required course fee.

RNSIT Bangalore B.E/B.Tech Admission Process- Through KCET
Candidates who are eligible must take the KCET.
The KCET results are published online by KEA.
Only students who have met the KCET cutoff can participate in KCET counselling.
Candidates who have been shortlisted for KCET counselling will be contacted.
Candidates must choose RNS Institute of Technology as their preferred college when applying for admission.
Candidates must come to campus to have their documents verified.
Final admission is granted based on students' performance in the KCET, counselling, document verification, and fee payment.

RNSIT Bangalore PG Admission Procedure
Eligible candidates have to appear for the Karnataka PGCET, which is administered by KEA.
Students who avoid GATE scores are not required to take the Karnataka PGCET.
Following the announcement of the results, the KEA will release the merit and rank lists.
GATE qualified candidates are given a separate merit list.
To be considered for admission, qualified candidates must apply for KEA counselling and select RNSIT as their preferred college.
Seats are assigned based on their performance in the entrance exam, candidate preferences, and counselling.
Candidates must submit their documents for verification and pay the fee.

RNSIT Bangalore M.B.A Admission Process
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria and appear for the KMAT exam.
Candidates who pass the KMAT are invited to participate in the selection process.
A merit list is created, and shortlisted candidates must attend the GD/PI round.
Following that, candidates must report to the counselling centre for the GD/PI rounds as scheduled.
Candidates are shortlisted based on their KMAT and GD/PI scores.
Selected candidates must get their documents verified and pay the course fees.

RNSIT Bangalore Placements

RNS Institute of Technology's Training and Placement Cell assists students in finding job opportunities. RNSIT Bangalore's placement process entails sending invitations to recruiters, companies visiting campus for pre-placement talks, shortlisting candidates through various selection rounds such as written tests, GD, and PI, and extending job offers to selected candidates. The RNSIT Bangalore Training and Placement cell offers specialised training in mathematical ability, aptitude skills, analytical abilities, language skills, and technical skills to improve the chances of success in any employment procedure. RNSIT Bangalore has a Liaison office that helps students with human resources, placements, training, corporate interactions, internal IT, and entrepreneurship development.

RNSIT Bangalore NIRF Placement Report 2023 shows that out of 798 eligible students, 682 UG (4-years) students were placed with a median salary of Rs. 5,50,000, while 30 students opted for higher education.

The placement cell has been deeply dedicated to provide opportunities for companies to find the right talent among students for their specific needs. RNSIT has a diverse student community and promotes a wide variety of academic courses by enriching their frontier aspects, thereby enhancing the overall development of individuals. Their vision is to establish a scenario for the smooth transition of students from academic to professional lives.

R.N.S. Institute of Technology Scholarships and Funding

Around 90% of SC/ST students get a scholarship every year.
80% of economically weak students of OBC get the scholarship every year through various state and national agencies.
Scholarship is also given to some general merit students from LIC, their parent’s organizations and other sources.

Various organizations from whom our students are getting scholarships are JINDAL, Sainik Welfare, Defense / PM Scholarship, MHRD (Merit), Vakkaligara Sanga, World Bunts foundation Trust (Bunt Sanga), Institution of Engineering Technology, INDIA Scholarships, LIC, Vishwa Konkani student scholarship fund and Many Community Scholarships. In some cases, minority scholarship amount is directly put into the student’s account, hence college cannot give an exact figure in terms of amount and percentage as it is not available with us hence these are not included. Of the total seats, 5% allotted to economically weaker section students under SNQ Quota are paying a very much subsidized fee of `3000 as against `49000
specified.

Financial Help:

It is a motto with the management of our Group, “Poverty would not be allowed to stand in the way of the completion of the education of meritorious students.
Such students are generously helped. Academically intelligent and poor students to acquire higher education by giving them financial help in the form of tuition fee waiver.
Relaxation in tuition fee is also given to merit position holders in the qualifying examinations/competitive examinations and position holders in the University examinations.
The parents of meritorious students are also honoured along with the students in the annual functions of the Colleges.

RNSIT Campus Facilities

Classrooms: Well organised and furnished classrooms and digital boards are installed in every class to make sure a student must have a better learning experience.

Hostel: The College has presently two Boys and one Girls Hostel. There is also a Hostel Committee to help in making policy decisions. Yoga and Meditation classes are held for both boys and girls in the early morning on alternate days.
