RajaRajeswari College of Engineering came into existence in 2006 with the objective of becoming a centre of excellence in technical education. In less than a decade it has carved a reputation for itself as an institution that makes a positive difference in the lives of its students.

It offers Under Graduate programs in nine engineering disciplines, besides masters programs. The RajaRajeswari College of Engineering campus has been designed as a complete. To be eligible for the admission process of RajaRajeswari College of Engineering B.E admissions must have passed the 10+2 intermediate examinations from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Maths as compulsory subjects.

RRCE Bangalore B.E Selection Criteria
A rank is a must in Entrance Examinations like CET, KRLM, COMED–K, AIET, AIEEE etc. After the merit list is declared it is followed by online counseling conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological university (VTU) for the seat allotment

Rajarajeshwari College of Engineering has released its placement report 2023. As per the report, the highest package and lowest package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 9 LPA and INR 1.80 LPA, respectively.

Scholarship
To apply for renewal immediately for Centrally Sponsored Post Matrix Scholarship for SC students for proper and timely release of scholarship. The Central share is directly paid into the accounts of the students. The student can apply for renewal Scholarship online on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at www.scholarships.gov.in. Link to the Portal is also provided on the website of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, i.e. www.minorityaffairs.gov.in and strict timelines are being followed as provided in the scheme guidelines.

The following are the steps for renewal in the NSP portal:

Step 1:Visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal.

Step 2:Under the ‘Login’ button, a drop-down list will appear that displays the ‘Fresh’ and ‘Renewal’ options for subsequent academic years.

Step 3:Select the ‘Renewal’ option for the academic year you want to apply for.

Step 4:A login page will open. Enter the application ID (same as the last year’s registration ID), password and captcha to login successfully.

Step 5:After successful login, proceed to make the renewal application by filling in all required details (as specified).

Step 6:Upload all the supporting documents.

Step 7:Finally, submit the application.

In case of completion of course, you cannot apply for renewal. Students eligible for renewal are advised not to apply in the fresh category as duplicate applications will be rejected by NSP. If you want to apply for Fresh, withdraw your Renewal Application from NSP.

RajaRajeswari College of Engineering has a well-equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of over 350 people. The auditorium is spacious, well ventilated and has well furnished halls. A regular venue for conferences, workshops and seminars, this auditorium has all the facilities to enhance the learning process and is a vast space that serves the varied requirements of quality education.

To make this possible, the auditorium offers facilities such as LCD projectors, screens, white-boards for delivering lectures. It also provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in cultural activities.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria serves high quality refreshments and beverages to the student’s community and the faculty members. The RRCE canteen adds to the homely atmosphere. The canteen offers best snacks and meals spanning South Indian, North Indian and Chinese cuisine at very affordable prices.

Central Library

OPAC – Book Search
Library and Information Center
The Central Library has a stock of 35168 volumes of various subjects and up to 27 International and 59 National journals along with E-journals, subscribed under the VTU Consortium. Along with the course curriculum books Library also has Aptitude, GATE, Placement sample papers, past question papers, NPTEL videos etc which acts as a supporting tools for the students academics. The Central Library has a total area of 1628 sqmtr with ambience reading environment. The library provides ample space for students and teachers with comfortable seating arrangements along with digital library & reprographics section.

The Library is computerized with NewGenLib open source software with RFID Technology and also equipped with KIOSK wherein the user/student can issue the books, return/renew or search for a particular book.

Books Lending
After becoming the member, each student will be issued a Smart Card. Each student can borrow 3 books at a time & can retain the books for a period of 30 days; the books have to be returned /renewed before the due date. Teaching fraternity can borrow 08 books at a time.

Digital Library
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) established VTU Consortium in the year 2014. The motto of the consortium being to facilitate access to online journals/e-books for the students, faculties and research scholars of VTU Affiliated Engineering Colleges in Karnataka. Subscription of online journals databases is very expensive and colleges can’t afford the cost individually. VTU negotiates with the publishers to supply the online contents to the colleges in a subsidized price.

VTU Consortium has Eleven databases of online access.

The databases subscribed from the Institution can be accessed through the static IP anywhere in the campus and remote access also which is registered through the publisher.

Class Rooms

Each classroom is well ventilated and have comfortable seating arrangement which enhance the student’s concentration and learning inside the classroom.

Computer Center

A well equipped and furnished computer center provides access to Internet for students for gaining additional knowledge and communication.

Each department is equipped with 100 seats seminar hall with projection and audio facilities .

180 seater seminar hall provides opportunities to the students to interacts with subject in depth of every engineering fields through EDUSAT, E-Vidya programees at university level.

Conference Hall

350 seater conference hall with international level facilities provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in cultural activities. It is fitted with state of art audio visual system.

In-House Banking

RRCE is always keen to introduce new innovative steps to improve the quality of education. RRCE in collaboration with ICICI bank has opened a new ICICI Bank branch on 14th Sep 2013 within the RRCE Campus. With this new branch opening inside the campus, ICICI Bank would help RRCE students and Professionals to manage their financial deals, in-house, fast and smooth. As the bank is there at their doorstep, students professionals working in RRCE don’t have to go searching for their bank branches for their financial dealings.

The ICICI bank within the campus has made it easier for all the people whom are studying or working in RRCE and has the student community are highly benefited from the easily accessible location of the bank. This new facility has saved the time and energy of all the concerned people. RRCE takes pride in being able to take another step to improve its concerned individuals’ quality of life.

Laboratories

Every department has excellent laboratory infrastructural facilities and the students are trained in the laboratories to enhance their practical skills. New and updated equipments are regularly incorporated in labs with latest technology, which gives the students an added advantage.

Medical Facilities

Management is pleased to extend free treatment to Student / Faculty Members at RRMCH & RRDC. All the intending users are using by producing ID Cards. Accident Insurance plan is covered for both students and faculty by the management.

Management is also providing a free psychometric test for our students by eminent psychiatrist doctors of RRMCH. Here the students are counseled and advised periodically.

Sports & Recreation

RRCE has excellent recreational facilities for sports including gymnasium, basketball court, volleyball court and a spacious ground for sports such as football, cricket and hockey.

Our teams have participated in many tournaments inside and outside Bangalore and have won many prizes.

A well laid out play field annexed to the College Campus provides facility for various games. The students are guided by a batch of physical Education Teachers.

Transportation

The college has its own fleet of buses that ply to and from various vantage points in the city. It is to facilitate easy travel for the students and staff residing outside the college campus. The buses travel through the city and suburbs; routes are planned properly to be punctual and convenient for students and staff. Additionally the college has the advantage of being well connected to the BMTC bus services and a major station of the under commission.
