The final answer key and question papers for GATE 2026 are now accessible. IIT Guwahati will release the results today, March 19. Candidates can view their results through the GOAPS login available on www.gate2026.iitg.ac.in. As per the official process, the final answer key has been issued prior to the result declaration. The GATE 2026 results will be published for all papers including CSE, EE, ME, ECE, DA, CE, and others.
GATE 2026 Final Answer Key (Released)
Candidates can now access the GATE 2026 final answer key through GOAPS. The results will be prepared based on this final key. If any candidate had previously challenged questions, they can check the revised responses in the final version. Login using enrollment ID and password is required to access the answer key.
Steps to Check GATE 2026 Result
Candidates can follow the steps below to access their results:
- Visit the official GATE 2026 website
- Click on the “Applicant Login” option
- Enter your enrollment ID and password
- The result link will appear on your dashboard
- Open the link to view your qualifying status
Candidates should note that objections cannot be raised against the final answer key. Additionally, once the result is declared, re-evaluation is not permitted.

GATE 2026 Toppers List: CSE, EE, ME, ECE
IIT Guwahati will also publish the toppers list for all 30 subjects. The list will include the candidate’s name, respective branch, raw marks out of 100, and normalized GATE score out of 1000.
GATE 2026 Branch-Wise Cutoff Marks: Qualifying & Admission
Along with the toppers list, IIT Guwahati will release the minimum qualifying marks for each subject. Candidates scoring equal to or above the qualifying marks will be eligible to download their scorecard and participate in the counselling process. Separate admission cutoffs will be released by IITs and NITs for MTech admissions.
GATE 2026 Scorecard Release Date
The GATE 2026 scorecard will be issued via GOAPS starting March 27 and will be available for free download until May 31. After this period, candidates can download it by paying a fee of INR 500. Only qualified candidates will be eligible to access the scorecard. The validity of the GATE 2026 scorecard is three years and it can be used for admissions to MTech, MSc, PhD programs, as well as recruitment in PSUs.
