JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result Declared LIVE: NTA Releases Scorecards at www.jeemain.nta.nic.in : The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result has been officially announced. Shreyas Mishra from Delhi (NCT) has emerged as the topper of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination. A total of 12 students have secured a perfect 100 percentile, while the results of 68 candidates have been withheld. Candidates can find live updates on the NTA JEE Main result, steps to check the scorecard, evaluation process, and other key details here.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the JEE Main 2026 results on the official portal, National Testing Agency’s JEE website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates must log in using their application number and password to access their scorecards.

The JEE Main 2026 result has been issued in the form of a scorecard that includes personal information, subject-wise NTA scores, and other relevant details. It is important to note that the cutoff marks and All India Rank (AIR) are not mentioned on the JEE Main result sheet. The result has been prepared based on the final answer key. A total of 9 questions were dropped across all 10 shifts in the final answer key. Additionally, in one particular shift, 3 questions were removed. Students will be awarded +4 marks for each dropped question in their respective shift. The highest number of dropped questions was recorded in the January 22 Shift 2 exam.

After the declaration of the Session 1 results, candidates should carefully review their performance and plan their next steps accordingly:

  • If your Session 1 score is not satisfactory, you may apply for JEE Main Session 2 to improve your performance.

  • Candidates scoring above 95 percentile are likely to qualify for JEE Advanced based on the cutoff trends and should begin focused preparation for the Advanced examination.

  • Those securing 99.99 percentile and above can either prepare for JEE Advanced for admission into IITs or strategize for admissions into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JEE Main scores.
