The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released an official notification dated February 19, 2026, detailing the procedure for allotment of seats under the NRI category. As per the notice, seat distribution for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates in the NEET PG 2025 stray vacancy round will follow a defined priority-based system.
Under this framework, Priority 1 will be granted to NRI candidates and their children. Priority 2 will apply to applicants who are first-degree relatives of NRI wards, followed by second-degree relatives of NRI wards. The notification also includes an annexure containing the provisional list of eligible candidates, which remains subject to revision if required.
