The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed the schedule for editing details in the NEET 2026application form. The authority updated the correction dates after extending the registration deadline for the examination. Students who made mistakes while completing the NEET 2026 registration process now have the opportunity to rectify them through the official portal www.neet.nta.nic.in.
As per the revised timeline released by the NTA, the application form correction facility for NEET UG 2026 will remain available from March 12 to March 14, 2026. To access the correction window, candidates must sign in using their application number and password before the closing date. Only those applicants who have successfully submitted their NEET UG 2026 application form will be allowed to use this feature. The testing agency has also specified that the correction facility will be provided only once for candidates to fix errors in their submitted forms.
NEET UG 2026 Application Form Correction: Editable Fields
During the correction period, applicants will be permitted to update certain details in their forms. These include category, medium of the question paper, preferred exam city, and uploaded documents such as photograph or signature. However, information entered during the basic registration stage cannot be modified.
How to Edit NEET 2026 Application Form at www.neet.nta.nic.in
Candidates wishing to update their NEET UG 2026 application form can follow the steps given below:
1. Visit www.neet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the NEET UG 2026 candidate login link.
3. Enter the application number and password.
4. Select the “Correction in Application Form” option.
5. Modify the required details and click on final submit.
6. Download and save the updated application form for future reference.
The NEET UG 2026 examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency on May 3, 2026, at various examination centres across India. So far, more than 22 lakh candidates have completed the registration process. With the application deadline extended until March 11, the total number of applicants is expected to exceed 23 lakh this year.
